Here are some projects I have worked on. From small scale 3D printing, to leading $40M public works projects. No project is too big or too small.

Cupertino USD - $40MM Clean Energy Project

When I joined Opterra/ENGIE, I immediately took over as lead project manager of a 25-site solar energy, EV Charger, and backup generator scope. I managed subcontractor negotiations, owned supply chain logistics, and coordinated and delegated labor for internal engineering resources. The was project concluded on time and under budget, with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Camper Van Design + Build

I purchased a 2019 Ford Transit 250 cargo van with my wife and we spent 4 months designing, fabricating the interior, and converting it for full time living. The van had running hot water, solar and storage for a 120VAC/12VDC electrical, a cabin heater, and storage for all our gear. We lived in the van full time for ~6 months before selling it to chase our next adventure.

Garmin + GoPro Bike Computer Mount

Frustrated with clunky, heavy, and cluttered headlight/bike computer handlebar mounts, I designed and 3D printed a computer mount that consolidated mounting points to one. This reduced weight from proof of concept by 140%, and reduces drag by normalizing airflow over the headset of the bike

Swingaway Hitch Receiver

I wanted to design and build a swingaway hitch reciever to carry bikes while allowing access to a truck camper setup. This was my first welding and fabrication project, and I really enjoyed working with metal and the versatility and durability of the material. Throughtout the build process, my key design constraints were the ability to hold 100lb of bikes and 60lb of bike rack, the ability to stay in position when it was swung out, and clearance with the tailgate and side of the vehicle. The hitch had three pre-set positions - travel mode for transport, 90deg from transport mode, and then 150deg from transport mode, to keep the bikes fully out of the way when at camp and cooking from the camper kitchen.
